What the CDC Now States Clearly
- “The claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.”
- “Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.”
- “Scientific studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines contribute to the development of autism.”
- The prior CDC statement violated the Data Quality Act, and the agency is now correcting it.
- There are no studies showing that any of the 20 doses of the seven infant vaccines—DTaP, HepB, Hib, IPV, PCV, rotavirus, influenza—do not cause autism.
- On the MMR vaccine, most of the published studies had serious methodological flaws and were retrospective designs that cannot prove causation.
Why This Matters for Parents and Clinicians
- Parents were encouraged to rely on a statement the CDC now admits was not evidence-based.
- Physicians were asked to communicate certainty where none existed.
- Research that should have been prioritized was instead sidelined, ignored, or declared off-limits.

If you feel like you are being punished by not vaccinating your child, or even worse don’t want to have children because you feel like you would have to vaccinate them. Please stay strong! Stand your ground! Change is coming.
