Authors Bio's

Paul Thomas MD (retired)
Image description
Dr. Thomas was born in Portland, Oregon, grew up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), and attended Dartmouth Medical School where he received his medical degree in 1985. He was a board-certified pediatrician for 30 years and practiced pediatric medicine for 35 years in the Portland, Oregon, area. Dr. Paul taught residents and medical students from Oregon Health & Science University for many years and was in a group pediatric practice from 1993 to 2008. In 2008 he opened his own practice, Integrative Pediatrics, which focused on informed consent and honored parents’ wishes in all areas and especially when it came to vaccines. Parents could do all, some, or none of the CDC and AAP-recommended vaccines.
Integrative Pediatrics served over 15,000 active patients. As the owner and director, Dr. Thomas supervised numerous pediatric nurse practitioners. Over his 14 years (2008–2022) there, they provided over 100,000 patient visits, and their clinic was the most sought-after clinic for parents who wanted to be free from the coercion and bullying that was becoming common in other pediatric practices. This gave Dr. Thomas a unique opportunity to see the real-world differences in health outcomes for these different groups of patients. He was astounded by how healthy and relatively free from chronic disease the unvaccinated children were.
Dr. Paul cowrote the book The Vaccine-Friendly Plan, published in 2016 by Ballantine, which has sold over 175,000 copies and been translated into many languages. He also cowrote The Addiction Spectrum, published by Harper One, and several other publications and articles in peer-reviewed journals.
After he published the landmark scientific paper that compared health outcomes for the unvaccinated to those of the variably vaccinated, the Oregon Medical Board emergently suspended Dr. Thomas’s medical license, which was odd because he had just produced exactly what the board had requested from him—data proving that the vaccine-friendly plan was as safe as the CDC vaccine schedule. (The irony, of course, is that the CDC schedule has never been tested for safety!) Dr. Paul retired, under duress, in December 2022 to save the practice. The silver lining was that left him free to communicate openly about this vital vaccine issue.
Dr. Paul has been speaking publicly at medical freedom rallies and professionally at numerous conferences about the dangers of the CDC vaccine schedule and vaccines in general for several years. He co-founded Kids First 4 Ever with coauthor, DeeDee Hoover: https://www.kidsfirst4ever.com. He is also the founder and host of the show “With the Wind” at https://www.doctorsandscience.com. He currently hosts the weekly show “Pediatric Perspectives” at Children’s Health Defense TV on their Good Morning CHD platform.
