As a pediatrician who was board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for 30 years, and a member up until they stripped me of my board certification (based on the Oregon Medical Board emergently and wrongfully suspending my medical license), I have watched this organization abandon children every step of the way when it comes to vaccines and the harm caused by vaccines.

I remained a member for the past 20 years, so I would know what they were up to. Attending their conferences in the first 10 years of my career, I realized they were beholden to the formula industry and the vaccine industry in a big way. Their conferences were more about indoctrination than they were about good science.

Sadly, for the roughly 67,000 pediatricians who are members, I suspect most are completely unaware that this organization prioritizes money and support of their corporate donors over the health of children.

This year, they are doubling down on their allegiance to pharma and profits with their new policy statement supporting the removal of both philosophical and religious exemptions. They want only medical exemptions according to CDC guidelines, which in effect eliminates all exemptions, including medical, as no physician who wants to keep their license will write a medical exemption.

This AAP News report outlines the top 10 priorities for the AAP, with number one being “Eliminating Non-medical* Exemptions to Vaccinating Children.” They want parents to be sidelined and have no say in what gets injected into their children. The AAP is supporting a one-size-fits-all vaccine program that is known to cause massive harm. This harm is well documented in my recent book Vax Facts and by substantial research that is ignored by the AAP, the CDC, and pediatricians.

The smoking gun that explains why the AAP has abandoned parents and their children is clear when you look at where they get most of their money. The article by David Bell, The American Academy of Pediatrics: Mining Children for Profit, and the Substack post by Dr. Meryl Nass say it all. Just look at the top funders of the AAP, and we now know why they are aligned with pharma and vaccine companies, especially Moderna, Merck, Sanofi, GSK, Eli Lilly, and other pharmaceutical companies—all top donors! Follow the money, and now that we have it, it is time to consider letting our buying power do the talking.

One way to do that is to refuse to see any pediatrician who is a member of the AAP. It is time to support pediatricians and providers who honor informed consent and take a stand against vaccine mandates and the AAP.

Our children are counting on us, the parents, to protect them from pharmaceutical predators who are aided by the AAP—and sadly, that means we must protect our children from most pediatricians.

Call the office and ask if they have providers who support families that don’t want to give any vaccines. Unless you get a clear, no-hesitation, “Yes, we absolutely support parents and their right to choose what, if any, vaccines are given,” then move on… NEXT.

I hear too often that there are no pediatricians who will allow families into their practice who don’t want to do all the vaccines, or even families that want to thoughtfully pick and choose. The COVID disaster did give us some blessings—you can now get care online. So, even if there is no practice near you that honors informed consent, there are plenty that do online.

Thank you, AAP, for making yourselves completely irrelevant and dangerous. We hear you, and going forward we will not follow your guidelines or advice.

The recent article "A Rational Moment: Kennedy and Oz" by Popular Rationalism sparked a vital conversation about the systemic coercion embedded within our healthcare institutions, particularly when it comes to vaccines. While that post eloquently dissected the broader cultural and political implications of vaccine mandates, this article zooms in on how these coercive tactics have been quietly enforced in pediatric care through so-called “quality measures.” For over a decade, these policies have undermined informed consent, masking aggressive vaccination protocols under the guise of improving healthcare outcomes. It’s time to pull back the curtain on these hidden mechanisms and demand a return to patient-centered, outcome-focused medicine.

​These coercive tactics have been hidden as quality measures for over a decade now in pediatrics when it comes to vaccines.

All quality measures that assess compliance based on vaccination rates or prescribing habits must be eliminated. Quality measures need to focus on actual health outcomes—this is the path toward better medicine.

​The same scenario has unfolded in hospitals regarding the administration of the hepatitis B vaccine to newborns. Hospitals are considered “quality” or “baby-friendly” if they achieve high vaccination rates. Is it any wonder that most hospitals embed standing orders for the hepatitis B vaccine and the vitamin K shot in the admission documents parents sign upon entering the hospital to deliver their baby? Unknowingly, parents sign documents granting the hospital permission to administer these injections. Consequently, these interventions are often carried out within the first hour of life—before parents even realize what is happening.

​Imagine that! You are vaccinating your newborn against a sexually transmitted disease that is predominantly contracted through sexual activity with an infected person or through the sharing of contaminated needles used for intravenous drugs like heroin. Between 99% and 99.9% of mothers in the United States do NOT have hepatitis B, rendering the risk to their newborns virtually zero.

Worse still, a toxic dose of aluminum is administered through this vaccine, potentially triggering immune system chaos. The consequences can range from immune dysregulation to severe outcomes like death, autism, and the plethora of autoimmune and allergic conditions that plague today’s children.

It is time to eliminate all metrics that measure a healthcare provider's ability to follow rigid protocols. If we are to maintain quality measures in medicine, they must reflect meaningful health outcomes—reduced mortality, decreased illness, fewer chronic conditions, and minimized side effects. Importantly, these metrics should encompass all health outcomes; otherwise, the system will continue to manipulate data, selectively reporting outcomes that serve institutional agendas.

​In what situations do you follow authoritarian mandates simply because of the explanation, “I said so”?

Parents, perhaps we have set our children up to accept this level of blind faith by ending arguments with “because I said so.” Or perhaps we were set up for this by our own parents using that technique!

As I considered why, I realized our entire society is set up for obedience. We obey traffic laws (sometimes). Students are taught to follow teachers' instructions, to listen to their parents, doctors, attorneys, and elders. Most would agree that we need law and order for a society to function. Forbidding theft and murder are examples of laws we can all agree on.

What should parents do when confronted by a doctor or anyone telling you that you must vaccinate yourself while pregnant, give your newborn a hepatitis B vaccine containing enough aluminum to poison an adult, or give all the CDC-recommended vaccines (up to 10 at a time) or else:

Why are about half of new parents now not sure if they will follow the CDC vaccination schedule, as demonstrated by this recent JAMA study, “Vaccination Intentions During Pregnancy and Among Parents of Young Children”?

No one has authority over your bodily integrity unless you are a slave.

​Unjust guidelines and policies are meant to be challenged—and, if necessary, disregarded.

​If you live in a free country, you should be free to choose which medical services you want to subject yourself and your children to.

There are massive profits from vaccines, including mark-ups, administration fees, quality bonuses, and other incentives. Do you want to take medical advice from someone whose financial survival depends on you accepting the vaccines they are recommending?

​None of the vaccines on the childhood schedule were tested for safety with a saline placebo.

​None of the vaccines had long-term safety studies, with most safety trials lasting days or weeks, and only a few going for months or a few years. Many side effects, like autoimmunity, take months or years to develop.

​The entire schedule has never been tested for outcomes and risks.

​Studies never look at all health outcomes and thus may miss the fact that, for every vaccine on the CDC-recommended schedule, the chance of death from the vaccine may be greater than the chance of death from the disease you are vaccinating against. Studies by pharma, public health, and official government-funded agencies never compare the health of the vaccinated to the unvaccinated.

Parents are waking up to the fact that the surest way to have an unhealthy child with neurodevelopmental issues, allergies, autoimmunity, and recurrent infections is to vaccinate—and that the worst thing you could do as a parent is to follow the current CDC schedule.

A large study from my practice compared all health outcomes for the unvaccinated to the variably vaccinated born into my practice. It showed that the unvaccinated generally had about one-quarter of the chronic health issues (neurodevelopmental, allergy-related), and infections of all kinds, when compared to age-matched vaccinated peers.

These graphs represent patients of mine at Integrative Pediatrics, born into that practice over 10 years: 2,763 were variably vaccinated, and 561 were completely unvaccinated. This is real-world data. There is nothing more powerful than real-world data, and, in this case, these were patients known to me.

I saw how incredibly healthy the unvaccinated children were. I had two waiting rooms in that clinic (sick and well), separated by a glass wall. By the time this data collection ended in 2019, the sick waiting room was usually empty and the well waiting room was standing-room-only. That is in stark contrast to the typical pediatrician’s office, often overrun by sick children with ear infections, colds, coughs, sore throats, flu, and the other conditions illustrated in the study (asthma, allergies, eczema, developmental issues, ADHD, ear/eye/lung/skin infections, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.).

​Data like mine, books like VAX FACTS, Dissolving Illusions, Turtles All The Way Down, Vax-Unvax: Let the Science Speak, and many more, are sharing information hidden for decades by the CDC and the system.

​Parents are waking up to the reality that has been right in front of us all along: our children are sick, struggling to focus, and as they age, are riddled with anxiety, depression, and a host of chronic health issues.

​Don’t vaccinate. PERIOD!

Take the job of avoiding toxins seriously. No pesticides or GMO “food”—please eat organic. Filter your water, encourage movement, and minimize screens. Be the example of health for your children, and involve them in shopping and food preparation so we can restore the universal tradition of family meals, prepared at home and shared at the family table.

It is still possible to raise a healthy, vibrant, and happy child today—but only if you are intentional. It begins with listening to our souls, standing up for our children in all situations, and making informed choices. Their future depends on it.

The age of blind trust is over. Pediatricians, the CDC, NIH, FDA, public health officials, and the media have all failed our children. Parents… it is our time now. Armed with information, we stand up for our children’s birthright—not to be harmed by dangerous medical procedures that have been inappropriately supported for too long.

For the 40% of new parents who are not going to fully vaccinate, where do you get credible information on which vaccines, if any, to do and when?

The Vaccine-Friendly Plan, a book I published with Jennifer Margulis in 2016, offers one approach with health outcomes that are far superior to those of children vaccinated according to the CDC schedule (and that was before they added COVID!).

The unvaccinated have far less asthma, allergies, behavioral issues, ADHD, and all infections (ear, sinus, eyes, skin, GI, and all combined). Isn’t the purpose of vaccines to decrease your child’s chance of getting infections?
